The Schoenbaum Family Center at Weinland Park

The Ohio State University

Columbus, Ohio

< BACK TO ACADEMIC WORK

The 47,000-square-feet center was designed to meet the unique needs of every child enrolled, train Ohio State students to be extraordinary teachers and care providers in early childhood education, and create new knowledge related to the growth and development of children through research. Its features include motor activity space, conference rooms, family advocacy offices, a kitchen and dining facility, a wellness center, a classroom for university students, and research and observation galleries.

The Schoenbaum Family Center at Weinland Park was created through Ohio State’s partnerships with Columbus City Schools, the City of Columbus, private industry, local service providers, private donors, and concerned citizens and neighbors.
