HKI provided design services, inclusive of construction administration for this concessions facility, located in the “North American Region”. The North American Region is the Zoo’s largest region and is designed to accommodate animals living in simulated habitats of that particular area of the world. In the region, one will find wolverines, otters, bobcats; and barnyard animals such as goats, sheep and chickens.

Thaw concessions venue is designed in context with early period homes and structures found on the North American Prairie. Food offered at this location for the enjoyment of visitors includes hot dogs, pizza, ICEES, nachos and drinks
